Deliveries
The Volkswagen Group delivered 10,974,636 vehicles to customers worldwide in 2019. This exceeded the previous year’s figure by 1.3% and set a new record.
Employees
Including the Chinese joint ventures, the Volkswagen Group employed an average of 667,748 people in fiscal year 2019, an increase of 1.8% year-on-year.
Sales revenue
Between January and December 2019, the Volkswagen Group generated sales revenue of €252.6 billion, exceeding the prior-year figure by 7.1%.
Operating profit
The Volkswagen Group generated an operating profit before special items of €19.3 (17.1) billion in fiscal year 2019.
